The NATIONAL AERONAUTICS AND SPACE ADMINISTRATION (NASA) has conducted more than 200 missions, both manned and unmanned after it’s APOLLO MISSION (1969).

Now, This is a list of NASA’s 6 most fascinating missions that will be taking to the space.

In may 2017, NASA announced it’s mission. This mission will do unthinkable: FLY INTO THE SUN.

The probe is set to launch in 2018 and get within 6.4 million kilometers of the sun. The main purpose is to collect data about Sun’s structure and heating mechanism.

It will be the fastedt human made object ever with speed of 692,000 kilometers per hour.

2. EUROPA CLIPPER

NASA’s Europa Clipper mission is being designed to fly by the icy Jovian moon multiple times and investigate whether it possesses the ingredients necessary for life.

The purpose of the Europa Clipper mission is the help for answering one of the biggest questions of all time: Does life exist elsewhere in the universe? This spacecraft will probably launch in 2020 , this spacecraft will go on hunt for extraterrestrial life on Europa, one of JUPITER’s moom.

The Asteroid Redirect Mission (ARM) also known as Asteroid Retrieval and utilization (ARU) mission, proposed by NASA in 2013.

As, the name suggests , the function of this mission is to learn about ASTEROIDs and to protect EARTH from them.

4. MARS 2020 ROVER

Mars 2020 is a mission by NASA’s Mars exploration programme with a planned launch in 2020. It is intended to investigate environment on Mars, investigate its surface geological process and history, including it’s past habitability, the possibility of past life on Mars.

It’s a vehicle about the size of a car that will crawl along surface of Mars and collect Data. It also has “SENSES”, The rover’s cameras, antennae, and other technologies.

5. EUCLID

Euclid is another ESA mission that NASA joined in 2013. Thi mission is for collecting data on dark energy and dark matter. Dark energy is an unknown form of energy which is hypothesized to permeate all of space tending to accelerate and expansion of the universe.

The euclid telescope will probably launch in 2020 and will end up by collecting cosmological information from 2 billion galaxies.

6. PSYCHE

Psyche is planned orbiter mission, the spacecraft will launched towards an asteroid named 16 psyche. This unique asteroid is composed of mostly nickle and iron.

Scientists believes that this asteroid is a leftover metal cpre of a planet from the early days of the solar system’d formation.
