Jeep Compass Price in India 2017 


FCA India, the local arm of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, has launched the Jeep Compass at a starting point of ₹14.95 lakh coming up against the Mahindra XUV 500 and the high-end version of the Hyundai Creta.


On Monday, Kevin Flynn, President and Managing Director, said over 5,000 orders had been received for the Compass with at least 38,000 enquiries in place. Deliveries will begin next week.

Fuel Variants :

At least 15 per cent of the bookings are for the petrol automatic version. The company will deliver the diesel variants right away and the petrol vehicles will be delivered up to Diwali, acording to the company officials.

The company is betting high on the Compass to get numbers to grow over the next two-four months, thus FCA India will increase its dealerships from 50 to 60.


Price : 

Automobile major FCA India has introduced its locally made SUV Jeep Compass in the Indian market at a starting price of  ₹14.95 lakh (ex-showroom-Delhi).

The Topmost High-end model is priced at ₹20.58 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Although the expected starting price was around ₹25 lakh, but it was ultimately confirmed by the top company officials as ₹20.58 lakh.

Warranty :

The SUV will be available with a 3 year, or 100,000 km, manufacturer’s warranty, and in addition, a complimentary road-side assistance package for three years. Customers can also extend their warranty period for additional 1 or 2 years as quoted by the company.

Company’s Top Officials Comment about the Compass :

Paul Alcala, Chief Operating Officer Asia-Pacific says that “Nobody produces jeep and instead all are running after SUV and that’s what make our company different and to be suited best for Jeep Compass ,which is the  most capable SUV in the world”.

The Jeep Compass range will be available in three ranges — Sport, Longitude and Limited (top mode) and in the combination of ten variants.

Company’s popularity has changed with the Compass, which will be produced in four exclusive locations: India, Brazil, China and Mexico.

India with it’s tremendous potential will benefit company much more with the Compass variant.

It will be obvious for the company to make Compass as a high priority in Indian  car production market.
